The Nursery Leader will provide strong pedagogical leadership and operational guidance, ensuring the delivery of exceptional early years education and maintaining the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding. The role requires an inspiring leader who can develop a high-performing team, promote best practices, and create a nurturing environment where children thrive.


Key Responsibilities

Early Years Education & Quality Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality childcare and education in line with the EYFS Framework and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure children receive engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support their individual development.

  • Promote outstanding teaching practices and support educators in planning, assessment, and reflective practice.

  • Champion inclusion, safeguarding, and children’s health, safety, and wellbeing.

  • Develop strong partnerships with parents and families to support children’s learning journeys.

Nursery Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee the effective daily operation of the nursery, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and safeguarding procedures.

  • Support inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor nursery performance, quality standards, occupancy, and operational requirements.

Team Leadership & Professional Development

  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the nursery team to achieve excellence in early years practice.

  • Support recruitment, induction, training, mentoring, and performance development of staff.

  • Identify professional development needs and encourage continuous learning.

  • Build a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture.

Parent Engagement & Community Relations

  • Establish strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and families.

  • Ensure all parent communication is professional, responsive, and solution-focused.

  • Promote the nursery’s vision, values, and reputation within the community.

Administration & Business Management

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of children’s records, staff documentation, inventories, and operational reports.

  • Support effective resource management and budget awareness.

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, equality, and confidentiality standards.

  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required by senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Previously SPEA-approved Nursery Manager

  2. Attested Degree in Education

  3. CACHE Level 5 Certification or Equivalent

  4. 3 years of relevant teaching experience in an early years setting or school that offers the EYFS curriculum.

  5. 3 years of relevant Managerial experience in an early years setting or school that offers the EYFS curriculum.

  6. Highly proficient in reading, speaking and writing English.


Ability to commute/relocate:


  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
