Valida Global is looking for an Accountant based in Dubai, Xero certified or with extremely strong hands on Xero experience, to work alongside our Senior Advisors. The role exists to turn client financial data into clear, accurate information that Senior Advisors rely on when advising clients on the best way forward, whether that is tax debt negotiation, restructuring, cash flow planning, or general commercial advisory. This is not a standalone bookkeeping role. The successful candidate sits close to the advisory process, and their accounting output directly shapes the recommendations Senior Advisors bring to clients. Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile client accounts in Xero to a high standard of accuracy across multiple client entities. Prepare management accounts, cash flow summaries, and financial position reports for Senior Advisor review ahead of client meetings. Analyse client financial data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities that inform advisory recommendations. Work directly alongside Senior Advisors, translating accounting findings into practical, client ready input. Support tax debt advisory matters with accurate financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting. Liaise with clients under Senior Advisor direction to gather financial information and clarify figures. Set up, code, and maintain Xero files to best practice standard for new and existing clients. Assist with month end and period end close across the client portfolio. Flag data quality issues, coding errors, or accounting irregularities before they reach a client. Candidate Profile: Xero Advisor Certification, or demonstrable extensive hands on Xero experience across multiple client files. Solid accounting fundamentals covering reconciliations, journals, accruals, and financial reporting. Comfortable managing multiple client entities simultaneously under deadline pressure. Strong attention to detail, as the work directly informs client facing advice. A clear communicator, able to present financial information plainly to non accountants, including Senior Advisors and clients. Based in Dubai, or willing to relocate. Prior experience supporting an advisory, consulting, or tax practice is an advantage. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, and part qualified or working towards ACCA, CA, or CPA is a plus rather than mandatory. Candidates with exposure to New Zealand or Australian accounting standards will be viewed favourably, though this is not a requirement.
