• Store Management

  • Manage day-to-day store operations for civil and electrical project materials.

  • Receive, inspect, identify, and record incoming materials against approved purchase orders and delivery documents.

  • Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, segregation, and preservation of materials.

  • Maintain separate and organized storage for civil, electrical, consumable, and sensitive materials.

  • Issue materials against approved Material Requisitions (MR) and maintain complete records.

  • Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical equipment, cables, panels, tools, fittings, and civil materials.

  Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, GRNs, material registers, and ERP entries.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements with procurement and project teams.

  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory with system records.

  • Track surplus, damaged, rejected, obsolete, and returnable materials.

  • Implement FIFO and proper material traceability procedures.

  • Minimize material losses, damage, wastage, and unauthorized issuance.

  Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain LPOs, GRNs, MRs, MIRs, delivery notes, inspection records, and material certificates.

  • Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, construction, engineering, and project teams regarding material requirements.

  • Coordinate material inspections and approvals with QA/QC.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material status reports.

  • Track material movement between suppliers, stores, and project work fronts.

  • Support material reconciliation and project closeout activities.

  Quality & HSE

  • Ensure only approved materials are released for construction.

  • Maintain proper segregation of approved, rejected, and quarantined materials.

  • Ensure compliance with project quality procedures and material preservation requirements.

  • Follow all company, project, and UAE HSE requirements.

  • Ensure safe loading, unloading, lifting, stacking, and handling of materials.

  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safe access within the store area.

  Team Management

  • Supervise Storekeepers, Helpers, and other store personnel.

  • Allocate daily activities and monitor team performance.

  • Ensure compliance with store procedures and documentation requirements.

  • Train team members on material handling, inventory control, and safety practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Stores Management, Engineering, or related field.

  • Certification in Inventory/Stores Management or Supply Chain will be an advantage.

  Experience

  • Typically 6–10 years of experience in project stores/material management.

  • Experience handling civil and electrical materials in power, EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

  • UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.

  • Experience in substation, power transmission, DEWA, TRANSCO, or similar utility projects will be preferred.
