  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians.

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily maintenance activities.

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.

  • Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain and service mechanical systems, pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and other industrial/farm equipment.

  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.

  • Monitor spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and breakdowns.

  • Assign tasks to technicians and monitor their performance.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company maintenance procedures.

  • Coordinate with farm/operations teams to ensure uninterrupted daily operations.

  • Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support installation, commissioning, and servicing of new machinery and equipment when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and machinery.

• Previous experience supervising or leading a team of technicians.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Experience in industrial, agricultural, dairy, manufacturing, or similar environments is preferred.

• Dairy farm / milking parlour equipment experience is an advantage.

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical manuals.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Willingness to work in a dairy farm environment.

• Candidates must be physically fit and capable of handling maintenance-related activities.
