About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Assistant to join our growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support daily logistics and supply chain operations by coordinating shipments, preparing shipping documents, monitoring deliveries, and assisting warehouse activities to ensure efficient and timely operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Prepare and process shipping, import, export, and customs documentation.
- Track shipments and monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Support warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, labeling, inventory checks, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and update shipment information in company systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory, and transportation costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics team.
Skills
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with logistics management systems is an advantag (Dubai Trade , Calogi and Dubai Municipality).
- Good command of written and spoken English.
