- Analyze financial data and identify areas for cost savings.
- Examine data to help with reducing costs in all operations.
- Propose cost-cutting or profit-generating alternatives.
- Coordinate with management to ensure cost forecasting reports are consistently checked and applied.
- Stay up to date on project budgets and project spending.
- Prepare detailed reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
- Assist management in making key cost-benefit decisions (e.g. investments, market growth, pricing changes)
- Calculate the costs of existing and new products.
- Process, labor, and inventory expenses are forecasted and analyzed.
- Perform capital project accounting and reporting utilizing the current asset management system
- Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register, including asset acquisition, depreciation, right of use and disposal
- Ensuring proper accounting of asset transactions, including calculating depreciation and adjustments.
- Reconciling fixed asset accounts.
- Developing and enforcing policies for safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost expert, or other comparable positionBachelor’s degree in finance, business or relevant field.Between 3 – 5 years’ proven experience as costing analyst in supply chain or logistics filed.Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.SAP Experience.
