Industrial Refrigeration Sales Engineer

Job Summary: The Industrial Refrigeration Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of industrial refrigeration solutions. This role involves identifying and targeting potential clients, developing relationships, understanding client needs, and providing technical expertise to recommend appropriate refrigeration solutions. The Sales Engineer will work closely with engineering, product management, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial refrigeration market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, clients, and industry partners.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve sales targets.


  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Understand and analyze client requirements to recommend suitable refrigeration solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the sales process.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in industrial refrigeration technology.


  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to address any issues or concerns and provide after-sales support.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to the relevant internal teams for continuous improvement.


  1. Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the company and its products.

Skills

Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration sales or a related technical sales role.


Technical Skills: Strong understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, components, and applications. Proficiency in CAD software and other technical tools is a plus.


Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.


Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop customized solutions.


Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.
