Recruitment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Use various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Partners with business leaders to understand short- and long-term needs across the business to forecast quarterly & annual hiring needs and build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Supports employer branding activity for the region.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and fit.
  • Drafts employment agreements, checks candidate references, gathers required documents (visas, education information), and negotiates and prepares offers.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-person and virtual interviews with hiring managers.
  • Arranging menu and cooking trails.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing expectations and providing clear communication.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support on best practices for interviewing and selection.
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and specifications.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process with relevant departments.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to HR leadership and hiring managers.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify the reasons for turnover.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS).
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist or in a similar role in F&B/Hospitality/Restaurant operations.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment sourcing methods and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy effective tools and practices to successful talent sourcing and acquisition.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and set priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit talent, think analytically, and develop creative solutions, especially for difficult candidate searches.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
