Role Purpose
To ensure a safe working environment by monitoring and enforcing health and safety standards, reporting incidents, conducting inspections, and implementing preventive measures in accordance with Jordanian regulations.
Main Accountabilities
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure adherence to Jordanian OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) standards and regulations. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports and statistics to the country leadership team and relevant authorities.
Risk Management And Prevention
Monitor and evaluate workplace environments to identify hazards and implement protective measures. Conduct inspections, especially post-accident, and develop preventive action plans.
Develop and enforce safety procedures and work permits for maintenance and repair operations.
Incident Response And Emergency Preparedness
Maintain and oversee the functionality of fire protection equipment and first aid kits.Organize and conduct fire drills and evacuation exercises annually.Coordinate emergency response, including transportation for injured persons.Provide recommendations for enhancing work methods and improving overall health and safety performance.
Training And Awareness
Collaborate on and implement training programs to educate employees about hazards and health and safety.Ensure the presence and visibility of instructional, guiding, and warning signs for health and safety in the premises.Develop and coordinate continuous improvement plans and awareness programs.
Minimum/essential Requirements-

- At least one year experience in a similar role
