The Role
The Sales Manager will work as a team member to create the most professional sales team in Amman and Hyatt International Hotels.To meet and exceed sales targets set in the monthly and yearly forecasts and to direct all efforts to maximizing the hotel’s revenues and profits in across all revenue streams, to develop network of contacts to encourage and secure hotel trial of key decision makers.
As a Sales Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Sales and below are some of the
Key Responsibilities:
- Need to develop an in conjunction with the Director of Sales a structured, timely, achievable personal business plan.
- Maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contract and quotes for the hotel.
- Achieving targets in terms of number of new active Accounts, Room Nights, Banquet Covers and Revenue.
- Supporting staff needs in other Divisions based on the hotel priorities and anticipated business levels
- Having a good understanding of contribution margins for each product results and work with respective heads of departments to maximize Operating results
- Ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual as well as electronically is maintained at all times
- Managing Opera records.
- Ensure that all meetings are well planned, efficient and results oriented
Qualifications
- High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results.
- Proven track of a minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Sales Executive or 1 year as Sales Manager in 5 stars hotel in Amman, Jordan.
- Charismatic leader who can inspire and motivate team.
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums - presentation, telephone; correspondence, face-to-face etc. in English, a 2nd language is preferred.
- High level of common sense and high skill of problem solving and decision-making.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Drive for results to outperform competition.
