QA QC Civil Engineer

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the processes meet established quality standards. This role involves overseeing the quality control process, conducting inspections, and implementing quality assurance procedures to improve quality and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA procedures and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure that all documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Quality Control:
  • Perform routine and non-routine inspections.
  • Monitor and evaluate processes and equipment to ensure they are operating correctly.
  • Identify defects or deviations from specifications and work with relevant teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on quality metrics and inspection results.
  • Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in quality standards and regulations and implement necessary changes in procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality issues.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes and systems to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality standards and procedures.


Skills

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles in the UAE, preferably in Construction Industry and strong knowledge about ADNOC procedures and policies. Preferably someone who previously obtained ADNOC approvals for QA/QC roles.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
