Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Manager to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan.


This critical role will be planning and managing Infrastructure Projects (Design) of medium level of risk and complexity, ensuring that they are delivered to a high quality, on time, on budget, and to client expectations.


We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Managing multi-discipline design teams working on infrastructure projects to ensure cost effective, quality, and timely input.
  • Preparing, planning and controling financial budgets and team resources in order to deliver required commercial outcomes.
  • Representing the Firm in communications with the Client, Sub-Contractors and JV partners or as delegated by the Directors and Senior Managers.
  • Preparing and managing complex project programmes and project contracts.
  • Developing and implementing measures to mitigate project-related financial and business risks, in partnership with Directors and Technical Leaders.
  • Ensuring project standards and QMS procedures are implemented across each of the technical areas involved in the project, including project administration.
  • Ensuring terms of the contract are followed, controls the scope and manages scope changes and their effect on delivery of project objectives.
  • Managing project invoicing and project cashflow planning.
  • Preparing monthly project planning, project cost plans and inputs to Divisional control plans. Inputs to monthly reporting protocols and project performance reports.
  • Analyzing existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies cost-effectiveness and service improvements.
  • Participating in business development activities, including tender/proposal preparation and presentations.


To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other Infrastructure related major and more than 10 years of experience in a similar position. Having a Project Management Professional certification and membership of a professional institution is desirable.


Furthermore, you should demonstrate:


  • Excellent knowledge of design, production, construction techniques, procedures, industry codes and standards.
  • Understanding of appropriate project and program management software.
  • Knowledge of statutory and commercial frameworks with the ability to prepare and control budgets, manage contracts and invoices.
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure design practices.
  • Ability to forecast resourcing and prepare budgets.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
