POSITION SUMMARY

 

Reporting directly to the Head Coach, the Front Desk/Sales Associate is responsible for warmly welcoming and engaging Gritncode Members and potential clients. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting with Package’ sales and membership inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for all members. The Front Desk/Sales Associate must be knowledgeable about Gritncode services, classes, and programs to provide detailed information and support. This position emphasizes member satisfaction, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to sales. Note: This job description highlights key responsibilities but is not exhaustive.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Warmly welcome and engage with Gritncode Members and potential clients, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage front desk operations efficiently, including booking classes, handling member inquiries, and overseeing classes/Personal training schedules.
  • Provide detailed information about Gritncode services, classes, and programs to members and potential clients.
  • Assist in creating in-house promotions and activities to boost sales and member engagement.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
  • Adhere to compensation guidelines for handling customer complaints, involving the appropriate managerial level when necessary.
  • Comply with Sport & Fitness and Gritncode Experience Procedures.

 

SALES AND MEMBERSHIP

  • Engage with potential clients to discuss membership options and services.
  • Conduct tours of the facility, highlighting the benefits of Gritncode membership.
  • Assist in signing up new members and managing membership renewals.
  • Monitor and follow up on leads to convert them into new memberships.
  • Increase awareness of the Gritncode App and encourage potential clients to enroll.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the customer base.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Ensure maximum member satisfaction through a personalized approach and recognition.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and direct interaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional service.
  • Clearly describe classes, programs, machines, and facilities to recommend appropriate follow-up plans.
  • Perform effective customer service tasks to retain and grow the customer base.

 

ADMINISTRATION

  • Facilitate administrative tasks related to front desk operations, such as managing schedules, updating member information, and handling payments.
  • Assist with audits conducted by the Head Coach/General Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of member interactions, sales, and inquiries.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

 

SUSTAINED LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Attend regular staff meetings to stay updated on all aspects of Gym & Fitness operations.
  • Participate in Gritncode training sessions to enhance product, service, and program knowledge.
  • Seek self-development opportunities to upgrade knowledge and skills, actively participating in internal and external initiatives.
  • Suggest enhancements to existing Experience Procedures for further growth and efficiency.

 

SAFETY

  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Uphold sterilization and hygiene standards as directed by law and Gritncode Experience Procedures.
  • Perform routine checks on cleanliness, hygiene, and functionality of the front desk area.
  • Report hazards and take required actions promptly.
  • Maintain high personal hygiene standards and support the team in complying with Grooming Experience Procedures.
  • Communicate equipment and technical service needs internally.


Skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of one to three years of experience in a front desk or sales role with demonstrable results and exceptional communication skills.
  • Required Skills: Customer Service, Sales, Organizational, Relational & Emotional, and IT skills.
  • Essential Qualifications: Diploma in sales, customer service, or a related field. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
  • Knowledge of current wellness and fitness trends.
  • Commitment to enhancing health, safety, and productivity in a smoke-free workplace.
  • Passion for wellness, fitness, and continuous learning.
  • Experience as a key point of contact for esteemed customers.
  • Ability to guide, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and members to ensure success.
