Contracts Manager

- Seek, evaluate and select suppliers and contractors with capacity to supply the skilled manpower and services required for the restoration works.

- Negotiate purchase prices and hiring conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.

- In coordination with Supply chain team, raising Purchase requisitions, issue invitations to tender for supply of manpower or services, ensuring that the technical, commercial conditions, and the scopes, are perfectly defined. From a commercial point of view, evaluate and compare the offers received from suppliers.

- Negotiate, agree, supervise the drawings of a contract to sign with the supplier and monitor its execution, insisting on the fulfilment of the conditions agreed upon.

- Study the possible risks of a contract to be signed, identify them and determine the approach to mitigate them following the risks managing policies of the organization.

- Follow-up on the construction budget established for each area assigned with aim of detecting possible deviations.

- Follow-up on the progress and certification of work of activities assigned to contractors.

- Detecting and reporting potential technical, legal or other risks that may occur during the execution of the work and to ensure the efficient development thereof.

- Coordinate with the rest of the organization and Project company in all areas where there are / may be synergies with a view to optimizing the activity.

- Write and submit reports on the results and deviations detected in the execution of a plan (attainment of objectives, deviations detected) to propose improvement actions and recommendations.

- Performing and monitoring the administrative activities associated with the work, such as recruitment, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, additional services requests, invoices, provisional and final reception.

- Verify that the costs are being committed and incurred as forecasted, detecting deviations that may continue to occur both in costs already committed as well as in revisions, and warn the Project Management in such cases.

  • 10-15 yrs in Contract management, 2 yrs as manager.
