Position: Quality Manager

Besan Company is a leader in manufacturing OE, customized, and aftermarket cooling products such as radiators, charge air coolers, and condensers. As we continue to elevate our operations, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and improve our quality systems, ensuring that we meet and exceed industry standards.

Role Overview

The Quality Manager will spearhead efforts to maintain and enhance product quality by refining processes, addressing operational gaps, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Systems and Processes:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for existing SOPs.
  • Identify and close gaps in checklists and quality assurance protocols.
  • Develop inspection strategies to ensure compliance and consistency.
  1. Performance Metrics:
  • Establish and monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) ratios.
  • Track and report on quality metrics, such as defect rates and NRC (Non-Conformance Report) data.
  • Ensure alignment with on-time delivery and customer satisfaction goals.
  1. Operational Quality Management:
  • Oversee credit notes related to quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address production quality concerns.
  • Create and enforce inspection protocols for incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  1. Strategic Improvement:
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive quality roadmap.
  1. Team Development:
  • Mentor and train quality assurance personnel to build a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular audits and provide feedback to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, preferably in automotive or cooling products.
  • Certifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt (required).
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (a plus).
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
