Job Title: Volunteer Video Editor


Organization Description:

Amman Center for Human Rights Studies (ACHRS) is an independent, regional, scientific, advocacy center based in Jordan, focusing on human rights and democracy issues across the Arab World. ACHRS strives to empower civil society through education on human rights and democracy, and through research that supports these vital areas. The organization holds Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and is an Honorary recipient of the UN Human Rights Prize 2023.


Role Description:

This part-time, remote position at ACHRS requires a skilled Video Editor who will oversee video production, including editing, color grading, and creating motion and graphic designs. The primary responsibility will be to enhance video content that effectively communicates messages about human rights and democracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit video content that aligns with ACHRS's mission.
  • Apply color grading and create motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure the production of high-quality video content.



Qualifications:

  • Proven skills in video production and editing.
  • Experience with professional video editing software.
  • Creative and meticulous in visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Interest in human rights is a plus.
