We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cargo Charter Sales Executive to join our growing Sales division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in air cargo operations, charter sales, and cargo brokerage, with a deep understanding of global freight operations. This role requires excellent sales acumen, client relationship skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales opportunities for cargo charter flights and freight forwarding services.
- Prepare tailored quotations in response to client requests for air cargo movements.
- Negotiate rates and terms with operators, carriers, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and cargo agents worldwide.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of confirmed flights.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and exhibitions.
- Be available for urgent client needs, including weekends or outside normal working hours.
Skills
- Strong understanding of air cargo logistics and charter operations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple client requests under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with air cargo documentation and compliance processes is a plus.
