Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Surveillance & CCTV In-Charge Manager to oversee all security camera operations across our retail stores. This role combines technical expertise in CCTV infrastructure with advanced video analytics, including face recognition, customer behavior tracking, dwell-time analysis, conversion rates, and store traffic insights. The ideal candidate will ensure full camera visibility, system reliability, accurate reporting, and data-driven insights that contribute to operational efficiency, loss prevention, and retail performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CCTV System Management Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of all store CCTV systems. Ensure proper camera positioning, visibility, and recording quality. Conduct routine audits for blind spots, system health, and performance. Coordinate with vendors/technicians for timely issue resolution.2. Video Analytics & Face Recognition Monitor footage using AI tools for face recognition and customer analysis. Track footfall, peak hours, demographics, and visitor behavior. Identify VIP, repeat, or suspicious individuals and flag incidents as needed. Provide insights on customer reputation and store engagement.3. Sales Conversion & Store Performance Measure footfall-to-sales conversion and analyze customer movement. Review heat maps, dwell-time, and product interaction zones. Support Retail teams with layout improvements based on analytics. Produce weekly/monthly performance dashboards.4. Security & Loss Prevention Monitor for theft, fraud, staff misconduct, and irregular behavior. Review incident footage and prepare investigation reports. Enforce security standards and store safety protocols.5. Data Compliance & Privacy Ensure surveillance operations comply with UAE data protection laws. Manage secure storage and controlled access to video data.6. Reporting & Communication Deliver regular analytical reports and recommendations. Communicate findings to management and train store teams on procedures.
Requirements & Skills
Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing CCTV surveillance in retail or analytics-driven environments. Strong experience with CCTV systems, NVR/DVR, IP cameras, face recognition tools, and AI analytics platforms. Technical knowledge of camera placement, wiring, network connectivity, and system setups. Proven experience in video analysis, customer footfall analytics, and conversion metrics. Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data, High attention to detail. Understanding of retail operations and loss prevention. Excellent reporting and communication skills, Ability to handle confidential information.
