Location: UAEExperience: Minimum 8 Years in UAEQualification: BE in Civil Engineering Preference: Prior experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA, or similar authoritiesRole Overview The Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE – Civil Substation) will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing the execution of substation civil works. The role includes technical supervision, site coordination, compliance monitoring, reviewing contractor submissions, and ensuring that all activities align with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.Key Responsibilities Assist the Resident Engineer in managing all civil-related activities within the substation project. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure ongoing work aligns with approved designs and contract specifications. Coordinate with all technical disciplines and participate in Site Technical Coordination Meetings. Review and discuss contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and construction matters. Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to approved drawings, standards, layouts, and method statements. Witness site activities, testing, and quality control procedures. Support the Resident Engineer in final inspections, certification of completion, and project handover processes. Ensure the implementation of adequate safety measures at site.
