FP&A – Financial Planning & Analysis Role Overview: The FP&A Analyst/Manager supports the financial performance of the catering business by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability tracking across camps, sites, kitchens, and contracts. The role ensures management has accurate financial insights to optimize food cost, labor efficiency, pricing, and operational performance.Key Responsibilities1. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for catering operations, including food cost, labor, logistics, utilities, and overheads. Build models to project contract profitability, cost-per-meal, and EBITDA impact.2. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly P&L reports by site/contract, including meal volumes, food cost ratios, labor cost ratios, and variance to budget. Track KPIs such as cost per man per day (CMPD), waste reduction, meal consumption trends, and procurement efficiency. Highlight operational gaps affecting profitability (over-portioning, low meal counts, overtime, procurement leakages).3. Performance & Profitability Analysis Perform deep-dive analysis on ingredient cost fluctuations, supplier price changes, and menu profitability. Monitor contract performance, including penalties, service-level KPIs, and margin erosion.5. Financial Models & Tools Build dashboards in Excel or Power BI for real-time visibility of food cost, labor, and site profitability. Automate reporting processes to ensure timely decision-making. Skills & Qualifications CA Graduate 3–7+ years of FP&A or cost analysis experience, ideally in catering, F&B, hospitality, or facility management. Strong understanding of food cost control, labor scheduling, procurement, and contract-based services. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; Power BI knowledge preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
