About Us:Join the team at ReFarm™, a pioneering initiative under the SSK Group, to drive a transformational shift in sustainable agriculture and food security in the UAE.We are seeking a highly motivated Microbiologist with a B. Sc./M. Sc. in Microbiology, Agricultural Microbiology, or Industrial Microbiology, and at least 1 year of experience in Quality Control or as a Microbiologist in an accredited laboratory.Responsibilities: • Prepare and perform microbiological analysis of samples of various origins (food, agriculture). • Develop appropriate work instructions and procedures to comply with public safety standards. • Follow internal laboratory safety and quality standards. • Maintain and update required SOPs to ensure compliance with internationally recognized procedures. • Prepare daily and monthly QC reports to ensure timely information flow and up-to-date test results. • Support routine quality checks and calibration of laboratory equipment. • Assist in maintaining the inventory of laboratory consumables and stock to avoid interruptions in testing. • Support R&D activities and internal research projects. • Prepare, test, and store microbiological media and cultures in accordance with SOPs. • Contribute to the development of molecular diagnostic systems for relevant plant pathogens.Preferred Skills: • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Strong time-management and organizational skills. • Willingness to learn new complex laboratory procedures and expand knowledge in a dynamic environment. • Willingness to work in a fast-growing company. • Understanding of safe work practices involving potentially hazardous microorganisms. • Experience with microbiology techniques, bioinoculant technology, and agricultural or environmental sample analysis. • Experience with molecular biological techniques (e.g., q PCR) is an advantage but not mandatory. • Experience with sequencing technologies (Illumina/Oxford Nanopore) is an advantage but not mandatory.Opportunity:Work in a research-active environment with strong potential for professional growth.Send CV to: [اضغط هنا لمشاهدة البريد اﻹلكتروني] Explore our vision at refarmtheworld.com and our solutions at sskgroup.com/products-services/refarm/.
