We are seeking account leads to lead projects that integrate expertise from a range of disciplines, including strategic communications, capacity building and public policy. Candidates might currently be working for government organisations, at communications agencies, multilateral institutions, non-profits or corporations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieving commercial outcomes: Winning, retaining and renewing clients is the core responsibility of senior leads at Consulum. Leading the work:Bringing together a rangeof different Consulumexperts to deliver an integrated, high-quality solutions for clients. Building a relationship of influence with the client: Winning the trust of the principal client and providingthem insight, analysisand advice they take seriously. Leading the Consulum team: Ensuring Consulum team members understand the mission, are clear about their role, deliver high-quality work and generally perform to standard. A critical aspectof leadership at Consulum is to ensureevery team member develops their skills and abilities and can progress over time. Participating in businessdevelopment: working with the wider Consulumteam to generate leads, develop proposals and deliver pitches.

Skills Communications planning and delivery: the ability to execute these functions at the highest level. Intelligence: structured, logical thinkingand presentation: the ability to develop and deliver comprehensive analyses and coherent presentations. People: the ability to lead, influence and mentor people. English: excellent written and spoken business English. Project management: an abilityto structure and manage the delivery of projects and programmes. Software: Power Point skills are essential.
Attributes Leadership: the ability to develop relationships of influence with clients and staff alike. Can-do: being resourceful, proactive, positive and problem-solving. Resilienceand stamina: the abilityto handle diverseclients and a large workload. Development-orientation: curiosity and the desire to learn, grow and progress. Experience15 + years’ experience in strategy, communications or policy. Idealbackgrounds include government, public sector, management consultancy, communications consultancy, charity and think tanks. Experience of client relationship building, relationship management and presenting to senior stakeholders.
