We are partnering with a successful, consumer-led retail business to appoint a Marketing Director. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving brand strength, customer growth, and commercial performance across an omnichannel retail environment.

The Opportunity Reporting into the executive team, the Marketing Director will lead the end-to-end marketing function, shaping strategy across brand, digital, CRM, and retail activation. The role requires a strong understanding of the retail customer journey, with a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will work closely with Trading, E-commerce, Retail Operations, and Buying teams to ensure marketing activity directly supports footfall, conversion, and customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities Define and deliver a retail-focused marketing strategy aligned with commercial and trading objectives Lead brand positioning, seasonal campaigns, and product launches across stores and digital channels Drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through CRM and data-led marketing Oversee digital performance marketing, social, content, and paid media Partner with Retail and E-commerce teams to optimise footfall, conversion, and omnichannel performance Lead, develop, and inspire the marketing team and manage agency relationships Own marketing budgets, forecasting, and ROI measurement
Candidate Profile Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within retail or consumer-facing environments Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and the retail customer journey Commercially minded, with experience linking marketing activity to sales performance Demonstrated success in brand building and customer growth Confident people leader with experience managing teams and external partners Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, trading-led environment
