|About the role We are seeking a diligent, highly organized, result-oriented Financial Controller to join our growing Finance team at Takamul
|What You’ll DoPrepare monthly financial statements, underlying schedules and other financial reports. Knowledge of project accounting and revenue recognition is mandatory Ensure that the books of accounts are compiled in a timely and accurate manner. Compiling financial reports and take lead on the month-end closing process. Coordinate with finance business partners and Corporate HQ teams for monthly closing of books, analyse the numbers reported. Work closely with financial reporting team to ensure that the monthly reporting is been done based on agreed timelines. Preparing audit schedules and managing audit field work. Ensure accounting systems and team are functioning according to policy and procedures, accounting standards, and are an accurate representation of Company current standings. Support tax team on compliance matters and additional ad hoc projects. Manage and implement internal policies and procedures and controls based on Company requirements, targets, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement processes necessary to ensure accurate, timely and meaningful sharing of financial information to key stakeholders. Implement and drive the core financial processes and reporting for the business including annual operating plans, long term plans, and monthly/quarterly business reviews. Analyse, interpret and communicate financial information and develop periodic management reports to reflect the overall performance of the Company. Actively participate in the implementation and development of the ERP and train accounting staff on using it. Manage, guide and mentor any team members reporting into him/ her, identify potential talent amongst team members and provide timely support to them for learning and professional development. Supporting on a variety of ad hoc projects as required. Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks.
|Minimum Qualifications UAE experience in relevant field for more than 5 years - financial operations mainly. CA / CFA / CPA certified / MBA-Finance Ideally, you’ll also need Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-driven in organizing employee events Attention to detail. Management of internal and external stakeholders Knowledge of UAE financial, commercial and Tax laws
