ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking to appoint a highly motivated Business Development & Operations Associate to join the team at the DMCC Luxury Innovation Centre (DLIC). This is an entry-level commercial role with real responsibility, designed for a candidate who is eager to build a strong foundation in sales, partnerships, and operations within the luxury, technology, and innovation ecosystem.
The role sits at the heart of DLIC’s growth strategy and combines membership onboarding, commercial development of Digital Product Passports (DPPs), event coordination, and daily operational involvement. It is a hands-on position offering meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders and fast learning opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Membership Onboarding & Growth• Actively support and drive the onboarding of new DLIC Members• Present the DLIC value proposition clearly and professionally• Conduct outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline tracking• Act as a first point of contact for prospective and newly onboarded members
2. Sales & Commercial Development – Digital Product Passports (DPPs)• Support the commercial rollout and sale of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and the ORIGINALLUXURY application• Identify, engage, and follow up with potential users and clients• Assist with product demonstrations and commercial discussions• Maintain sales pipelines and contribute to reporting
3. Events & Community Engagement• Support the organization and coordination of DLIC events and workshops• Assist with invitations, registrations, logistics, and on-site coordination
4. Daily Operations & Centre Life• Participate actively in the day-to-day operations of the DLIC• Support coordination with DMCC teams, partners, and service providers• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and communications
5. Additional Responsibilities This role is not limited to the responsibilities listed above and may evolve over time. The Associate will be expected to contribute flexibly to additional tasks, projects, and initiatives.
PERFORMANCE & EVALUATIONKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be defined for the role and performance will be continuously assessed.
