General Description
This role is responsible for managing and executing multiple construction projects (15–20 sites) efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contractual requirements and project guidelines. It requires a comprehensive understanding of project operations, QHSE standards, and company procedures. The role will plan, coordinate, and deliver all operational works from project handover to closure, ensuring accuracy in documentation, resource optimization, and full compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective project execution and delivery for assigned sites, covering mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring, and demobilization. Maintain accurate and timely reports, including Picking Lists, Delivery Notes, Installation Reports, Start and Stop Reports, Damage Reports, Progress Reports, As-Built Drawings, Manpower Records, and Collection Notes. Operate as the single point of contact for all site-related operational matters between the Line Manager, Operations team, and other stakeholders. Handle all project documentation and reporting requirements, including Daily Activity Reports, Weekly System History Reports, and Monthly Timesheets. Support the Line Manager by providing technical and engineering input throughout the project lifecycle and participating in client meetings as required. Establish and maintain efficient resource utilization plans to optimize manpower and minimize overtime and operational costs. Deliver reports as requested by the Line Manager, including ad hoc site progress or performance reports. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project activities are completed as per specifications and deadlines. Conduct any other tasks or projects assigned by the direct line manager.
Qhse
Ensure full compliance with the company’s QHSE policies, standards, and procedures. Promote safety targets and zero-tolerance for unsafe practices and conditions at all worksites. Decline any unsafe work practices that may cause harm to people, equipment, or property. Notify the Safety Officer and Line Manager of any unsafe or potentially hazardous situations immediately. Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to quality specifications, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Inspect and verify that all relevant quality checklists and project-specific requirements are completed accurately. Report any defects, errors, contamination, or variations identified during project execution. Maintain a safe and clean working environment and promote a proactive safety culture across all teams and subcontractors.
Cross Functional Support And Training
Support team development by setting objectives, providing guidance, and ensuring alignment with project and company goals. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (such as Engineering, Procurement, and Operations) to address project risks and resolve issues related to documentation, contracts, and execution. Assist the Line Manager in preparing and updating rolling manpower plans for six months, including justifications for additional resources when needed. Identify and communicate potential project problems or opportunities, escalating to the Line Manager as appropriate. Facilitate discussion and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team performance, safety awareness, and technical competency.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized university. Degree or certification in Construction Management or Project Management is an asset. Certified in QHSE awareness or equivalent safety management program is preferred. Proven experience of at least 4 years in a similar role within the construction or groundwater control industry, including experience supervising multiple concurrent projects. Working knowledge of groundwater control systems and project management principles. Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point). Valid driving license is required. The travel percentage mandated for this role depending on project site locations. Good computer proficiency and ability to generate accurate and timely reports. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
