Senior Manager – Corporate & Business Development Advanced Air Mobility & Next-Generation Aviation
About the Role
This role sits at the centre of the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem, supporting the commercialisation of next-generation aircraft, systems, and services spanning piloted and autonomous operations.
You will originate and execute strategic partnerships that enable new aviation capabilities—from early market entry and infrastructure alignment to multi-year commercial and government collaborations. The remit is intentionally broad, spanning civil, defense, and dual-use applications, and intersecting with autonomy, aerospace, mobility, and enabling technologies.
The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution and is suited to someone who thrives in complex, fast-evolving environments where regulatory frameworks, infrastructure, and commercial models are still being shaped.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end partnership development across the AAM ecosystem, including government, quasi-government, and private-sector stakeholders. Structure and negotiate agreements supporting aircraft deployment, autonomy enablement, infrastructure development, services, and dual-use applications. Navigate complex regulatory and policy environments, aligning commercial partnerships with aviation authorities, infrastructure planners, and national strategies. Develop and execute market-entry and regional commercial strategies for emerging AAM markets. Work closely with engineering, operations, policy, and finance teams to assess technical feasibility, operational readiness, and commercial value. Drive agreements from signature into early deployment, pilots, or scaled programmes, ensuring commercial intent translates into execution. Build senior relationships across aviation, aerospace, autonomy, defense, mobility, and technology ecosystems. Represent the organisation with credibility in discussions with government leaders, infrastructure partners, corporates, and investors. Communicate clearly and concisely through executive briefs, deal summaries, and decision papers.
Required Qualifications
8+ years’ experience in corporate development, business development, partnerships, or strategy roles, with a track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Background in Advanced Air Mobility, aviation, aerospace, autonomy, defense, infrastructure, mobility, or adjacent high-technology sectors. Experience engaging with government and public-sector stakeholders, particularly in regulated or emerging markets. Exposure to the Middle East ecosystem is strongly preferred. Arabic language skills are beneficial but not required. Commercially sharp, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving regulatory environments. Strong negotiation, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level communication skills. Willingness to travel regionally and internationally and collaborate across time zones.
