Job Details

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a strategic and technically-grounded Regional Field Service Manager to lead our Field Service operations across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Based in Abu Dhabi, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving the financial profitability, safety culture, and operational excellence of our on-site service business.
As the primary champion for customer satisfaction in the region, you will oversee a dedicated team of 10–20 professionals, managing everything from personnel scheduling and P&L accountability to high-level technical troubleshooting. You will act as a key liaison between global management and our clients, ensuring that our reputation for precision engineering and unparalleled service is maintained across all Elliott and non-Elliott rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Management P&L Accountability: Manage the regional budget, including profit, expenses, salary administration, and capital expenditures. Business Development: Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow sales in on-site services, maintenance contracts, and installation projects. Pricing Strategy: Establish competitive pricing for field services and approve high-level quotations to maximize margins and market penetration. Planning: Assist in the development of annual and long-term (5-year) operational and financial plans.
Operational Excellence & Quality Resource Allocation: Oversee personnel scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and meet budgeted utilization rates for engineers and technical reps. Service Standards: Maintain a "one look, one feel" customer experience by aligning with global service standards and ISO requirements. Quality & Safety: Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure 100% compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) regulations. Contract Management: Manage alliance partners, preferred vendor contracts, and subcontractors within the MEA region.
Technical Leadership & Customer Relations Crisis Resolution: Direct technical support for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and prompt resolution of field problems. Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for high-level client management, handling commercial disputes, and warranty programs. Sales Support: Assist the sales force during final negotiations and project kick-off meetings for multi-discipline projects (rerates, repairs, and parts).
Team Leadership Personnel Management: Responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance appraisals, salary planning, and professional development. Safety Culture: Champion a safety-first mindset across the entire regional organization.

Professional Background Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent intensive industry experience. Proven Track Record: At least 15–20 years in field operations, including 8–10 years specifically focused on management of field service or shop service environments in the Middle East or at regional level. Leadership Excellence: 8–10 years of managerial experience with a proven ability to motivate teams, organize complex operations, and take full P&L accountability.
Technical & Strategic Mastery Rotating Equipment Expert: Comprehensive knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment, including the installation, overhaul, and troubleshooting of both Elliott and non-Elliott machinery (Steam Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors and Multistage / Cryogenic Pumps). Commercial Acumen: Skilled in managing complex service packages and contracts, with a sharp eye for detail and profitability. Solutions Architect: A talent for investigating disputes and equipment issues, reaching sound conclusions, and "selling" those solutions effectively to both customers and internal stakeholders. Strategic Communicator: A demonstrated ability to lead high-level discussions, direct investigative programs, and act as a consultative partner to our clients.
Base Location & Work Schedule This is a full time permanent position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
