We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manager – Business Development to lead growth initiatives across the Iraq region. This role is critical in identifying new opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the industrial services and oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities🔹 Business Development & Sales Drive BD strategy to expand market share in Iraq Identify and secure new business in plant maintenance, shutdowns, EPC retrofit, tanks maintenance, and APM services Lead proposal development, tendering, and contract negotiations🔹 Client & Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts Enhance brand visibility through industry events and networking🔹 Market Intelligence & Strategy Conduct market research and competitor analysis Develop actionable insights to support bidding and growth strategy Maintain a healthy pipeline aligned with company objectives🔹 Bidding & Commercial Activities Manage prequalification, bid preparation, submission, and post-bid follow-ups Ensure timely and compliant submission of proposals Coordinate with internal teams for technical & commercial alignment🔹 Leadership & Reporting Lead and guide BD/marketing teams Provide strategic reports and recommendations to senior management Support long-term business planning and regional expansion
Requirements✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil preferred) or MBA (Marketing) ✅ Minimum 12+ years experience in BD/Sales within Oil & Gas / Engineering services ✅ Strong understanding of project lifecycle & commercial aspects ✅ Proven track record in winning bids and client acquisition ✅ Excellent communication, negotiation & leadership skills ✅ Experience in Iraq market in Mandatory
