Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Specialty Coffee Barista to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for specialty coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering consistently outstanding beverages and memorable hospitality.

Key Responsibilities



• Prepare exceptional espresso-based beverages and manual brew coffee to specialty coffee standards.
• Dial in espresso, calibrate grinders, and maintain consistency throughout daily operations.
• Perform manual brewing methods including V60, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other filter brewing techniques.
• Produce high-quality milk texturing and latte art.
• Share coffee knowledge with customers, including coffee origins, processing methods, tasting notes, and brewing techniques.
• Ensure every guest receives a warm, welcoming, and memorable customer experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, brewing equipment, and café environment.
• Perform daily cleaning and preventive maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Follow HACCP food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Work closely with the team to maintain efficient café operations and uphold Coterra Coffee's quality standards.

Skills

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in a specialty coffee environment.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and coffee brewing techniques.
• Experience with manual brewing equipment.
• Ability to create consistent latte art and properly textured milk.
• Good understanding of coffee origins, processing methods, roast profiles, and flavor development.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• English communication skills are required.
• SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
