Lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS/IMS) across all airport departments, reporting to the Director – Compliance
Manage the internal quality audit programme, ensuring conformity with the Aerodrome/SMS Manual, GCAA regulations and associated documentation
Monitor operational activities for procedural compliance and oversee completion of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Produce and maintain quality documentation including the IMS Manual, policies and procedures
Conduct Management Reviews and communicate QHSE results across the organisation
Advise the Accountable Executive on quality, environmental and occupational health & safety matters
Monitor quality indicators through statistical analysis to identify existing and potential problems
Ensure quality assurance for aeronautical data and data traceability in accordance with GCAA requirements
Supervise and develop the compliance (Quality & HSE) team, setting performance standards and improvement plans
Support quality certifications and regulatory audits in line with ISO standards and GCAA requirements
Participate in overall business strategy and present the organisation positively to stakeholders and regulators
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management or related field; advanced degree or certification in Quality/Safety preferred
Minimum 5–8 years of QHSE experience, preferably in aviation, airports or ground handling
Trained and experienced in safety and quality management systems, auditing, ISO standards (9001/14001/45001) and IATA standards; lead auditor certification an advantage
Familiar with the GCAA regulatory framework (CAR/CAAP/GM), including the State Safety Programme / Aerodrome SMS (CAR Part X), Aerodrome Certification Process (CAAP 30) and Aerodrome Projects (CAAP 5)
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to regulators and executive management
Analytical mindset with experience using quality indicators and statistical analysis for continuous improvement
