Job Summary The Technology Analyst – Corporate Payments is responsible for supporting the expansion of Corporate Payment solutions and serving as the techno-functional expert for the Oracle Banking Payments (OBP) platform. The role involves collaborating with business and technology teams to analyze requirements, review technical and functional specifications, support testing, manage production deployments, coordinate with vendors, and ensure seamless delivery of corporate payment solutions. The candidate will also contribute to issue resolution, integration design, user training, and continuous platform enhancement.
Key Responsibilities Act as the techno-functional expert for Oracle Banking Payments (OBP) and Corporate Payment solutions. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Technology teams to deliver business requirements. Analyze business requirements and review functional and technical specification documents. Evaluate technical solutions and recommend scalable, efficient implementations. Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and prioritize defect resolution. Coordinate with Oracle/vendor teams for issue investigation and defect fixes. Support all phases of testing including SIT, Regression, Performance, Integration, and UAT. Review test strategies, test scenarios, test data, and test execution results. Perform impact analysis for change requests and support production deployments. Coordinate application releases and ensure smooth implementation of system changes. Prepare integration and detailed design specifications for banking applications. Support integrations with Oracle Flexcube and other banking systems. Work with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, messaging systems, XML/XSLT, and web services. Develop and support backend customizations using Oracle Banking Products and SQL/PLSQL. Conduct product demonstrations and user training for business and operations teams. Manage communication with business stakeholders during requirement gathering and solution reviews. Provide post-production support and ensure application stability. Recommend enhancements to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage. Experience13–15+ years of experience in banking technology with strong exposure to Corporate Payments. Experience working on large-scale digital transformation or banking modernization projects. Proven experience delivering enterprise banking technology solutions. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Corporate Payments and Banking domain. Hands-on experience with Oracle Banking Payments (OBP). Experience with Oracle Banking Product Suite and Extensibility Toolkit. Knowledge of Oracle Flexcube integration methodologies. Experience with backend customizations in Oracle Banking applications. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Middleware, and Messaging systems. Experience working with XML, XSLT, SQL, and PL/SQL. Understanding of production release management and change impact analysis. Knowledge of software testing methodologies including SIT, Regression, Performance, and Integration Testing.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle Banking Routing Hub (OBRH). Exposure to enterprise integration architecture. Experience supporting production environments in banking applications. Knowledge of banking accounting integrations. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
