Job Summary

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Consultant focused on Red Hat Cloud Products to join us in the UAE. In this role, you will participate in the design and development of cloud-ready infrastructure and application architectures, including automated container platforms, deployment pipelines. 

You'll lead and/or be part of the on-site implementation of Red Hat's technologies like Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. You'll play a key role in the enterprise development of our customers, helping make our solutions both practical and workable for their businesses. You'll work to gain an understanding of customer infrastructure and business needs, make recommendations that resolve their issues, and help them make strategic decisions. 

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements

  
  
  

• Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values

  
  
  

• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting best methods to obtain solutions

  
  
  

• Implement and integrate Red Hat's open and hybrid cloud solutions including Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and other Red Hat's offerings

  
  
  

• Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals

  
  
  

• Contribute to project documentation and diagrams and support cases management

  
  
  

• Mentor and share your knowledge with customers and the team

  
  
  

• Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market

  
  
  

• Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

  
  
  

What you will bring

• Advanced experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

  
  
  

• Advanced hands on experience and knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Platform or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker

  
  
  

• Hands on experience and knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

  
  
  

• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security

  
  
  

• Ability to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders in both technical and business audiences

  
  
  

• Ability to study on your own, learn quickly, and put new ideas into practice

  
  
  

• Good communication skills, verbal and written in English

  
  
  

• Availability to work onsite on customer sites over 50% of time
