We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist Location: Abu Dhabi Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will provide specialized care for children and adolescents with rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
Evaluate children with inflammatory joint, muscle, bone, and connective tissue disorders.
Manage conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile lupus, vasculitis, and other pediatric rheumatologic disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response and disease progression.
Prescribe and monitor appropriate pharmacological and biologic therapies.
Coordinate care with pediatricians, immunologists, orthopedists, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and UAE healthcare regulations.
Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement programs, and continuing medical education.

Qualifications Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Rheumatology .
Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as required under UAE PQR guidelines.
Valid professional license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain DOH licensing in Abu Dhabi.
Proven experience managing pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills, particularly with children and their families.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
