- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues within VRF systems, pinpointing root causes of performance degradation or failure.
- Perform preventative maintenance on VRF units, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components to ensure optimal operation.
- Install and commission new VRF systems, ensuring proper piping, wiring, and control integration according to manufacturer specifications and project blueprints.
- Repair and replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, valves, and control boards, utilizing specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in HVAC or related field preferred.
EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is mandatory for handling refrigerants.
Minimum of 4-8 years of hands-on experience specifically with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control sequences.
