Monitor and control project costs against the approved budget.
Prepare weekly/monthly cost reports and cost forecasts.
Track actual costs, commitments, accruals, and remaining budgets.
Analyze cost variances and identify potential overruns or savings.
Monitor subcontractor, supplier, procurement, and material costs.
Track project variations, change orders, and their financial impact.
Coordinate with Planning, QS/Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and Site teams.
Prepare and update project cost forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
Ensure costs are properly allocated to project cost codes.
Monitor project expenditure against physical progress.
Maintain cost control registers, records, and supporting documentation.
Highlight cost risks and provide recommendations for corrective action.
Support the Project Manager in maintaining the project within the approved budget.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction cost control/project controls in UAE.
Strong knowledge of construction costs, budgets, variations, and subcontractor management.
Proficient in MS Excel and cost control/reporting systems.
Good understanding of project planning and financial reporting.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proactive, organized, and commercially aware.
