Accountant – Construction Company

Emaara Building Contracting L.L.C. is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Ajman, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting and bookkeeping records.

• Manage supplier and subcontractor accounts and reconciliations.

• Handle accounts payable, receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.

• Record and monitor project-wise construction costs.

• Verify invoices, LPOs, delivery notes, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Assist with payroll, VAT, Corporate Tax documentation, and monthly closing.

• Prepare financial, outstanding payment, aging, and project cost reports.

• Maintain accurate physical and digital financial records.

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferred.

• Construction or contracting company experience is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and organization.

Candidates with experience in construction accounting, supplier/subcontractor reconciliation, and project costing will be preferred.
