Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Furniture Cleaning Team Leader to supervise and lead a team of furniture cleaning staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality cleaning services, managing daily team activities, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring that all cleaning procedures and safety standards are followed.

The Team Leader will also be expected to participate in furniture cleaning activities, inspect completed work, train team members, and resolve any operational or customer-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the furniture cleaning team on a daily basis.
• Plan and allocate cleaning jobs to team members according to schedules and workload.
• Perform and supervise professional cleaning of sofas, carpets, mattresses, chairs, curtains, and other upholstered furniture.
• Ensure furniture is cleaned according to company standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect completed cleaning work and ensure excellent quality before handing over to customers.
• Train and guide team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical usage.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment, machines, tools, and chemicals are used correctly and safely.
• Maintain proper care and storage of company equipment and cleaning materials.
• Monitor team attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overall performance.
• Communicate with customers professionally and handle basic customer complaints or service issues.
• Report any damaged furniture, equipment issues, or customer concerns to management.
• Ensure the team follows company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transportation of cleaning equipment when required.
• Support the Operations Manager in achieving daily and monthly service targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in furniture, upholstery, sofa, carpet, or deep cleaning services.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of different furniture fabrics, upholstery materials, and appropriate cleaning methods.
• Ability to operate professional cleaning machines and equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe chemical handling.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing cleaning work.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Salary: AED 2500- 2800
