- Perform hands-on testing of coating thickness (DFT), adhesion, and surface profile using calibrated instruments, meticulously documenting all readings.
- Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality plans, providing clear photographic evidence and detailed descriptions.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and testing procedures to validate the quality of work performed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid NACE Level 2 certification in Coatings Inspection.
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in quality control for industrial coating projects.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques (e.g., abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning) and their quality assessment.
- Proficient in using various coating inspection instruments such as DFT gauges, adhesion testers, and surface profile comparators.
