Job description

1. Support the company in obtaining and maintaining its SIRA licence for the Installation of Security Devices and Equipment.

2. Prepare and review CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm and integrated security system designs.

3. Prepare CAD drawings, camera layouts, coverage calculations, equipment schedules, schematics and technical submittals.

4. Submit security system drawings and documents through the SIRA portal and coordinate with SIRA, consultants, clients and other authorities.

5. Supervise installation teams and ensure that cabling, equipment locations, recording systems and control rooms comply with approved drawings.

6. Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system handover.

7. Prepare testing reports, as-built drawings, operation manuals and project close-out documents.

8. Coordinate inspections and rectify observations raised by SIRA, consultants or clients.

9. Support estimation, tendering and technical clarification for ELV and security system projects.

10. Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements and company quality procedures.

Skills

1. Valid or previously held SIRA Security Systems Engineer card/licence, or clear eligibility to obtain one immediately.

2. Valid UAE residence status or ability to transfer to the company’s employment visa.

3. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.

4. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm or integrated security systems.

5. Previous Dubai experience and practical experience with SIRA submissions and inspections are strongly preferred.
