Why This Role Matters

The Storekeeper plays a critical role in ensuring smooth facility management operations through efficient inventory control, material availability, and proper storage practices. The role supports maintenance teams by ensuring that required materials, tools, and spare parts are available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory records and cost control.

What You'll Drive

• Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical items.
• Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliations.
• Receive and inspect materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure proper documentation of received goods and inventory transactions.
• Issue materials and spare parts against approved requests and work orders.
• Monitor material consumption and support efficient inventory control.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices where applicable.
• Maintain records of tools and equipment issued to operational teams.
• Prepare inventory reports and support audits.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Maintenance teams.
• Support emergency requests and urgent operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements for storage and handling activities.
• Identify obsolete, slow-moving, or excess stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Support annual stock counts, mobilization, and demobilization activities.

You're a Great Fit If You Have

• Experience managing inventory within Facility Management, Maintenance, or Construction environments.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good knowledge of materials, spare parts, and inventory processes.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet operational requirements.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory systems, CMMS, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.

Qualification:

• High School Certificate or Diploma (technical background preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably within Facility Management.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of MEP materials and maintenance spare parts is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory control practices.
