Job Details

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the structural steel, construction, and engineering sectors.

  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders.

  3. Understand client requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.

  4. Prepare and submit quotations, technical proposals, and commercial offers based on project requirements.

  5. Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing requirements.

  6. Coordinate with the estimation, engineering, production, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely quotations.

  7. Follow up on submitted quotations, tenders, and proposals and negotiate with clients to secure orders.

  8. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to explain the company's products, services, and technical capabilities.

  9. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming construction projects to identify potential business opportunities.

  10. Maintain an updated database of clients, prospects, projects, quotations, and sales activities.

  11. Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business development objectives.

  12. Coordinate with the project and commercial teams during project execution to ensure smooth client communication.

  13. Prepare regular sales reports, opportunity pipelines, and updates for management.

  14. Attend exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings to promote the company's products and services.

  15. Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, purchase orders, contracts, and payment-related matters when required.

  16. Maintain professional relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business and additional sales.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within the construction or structural steel industry.

  3. Strong knowledge of structural steel, fabrication, erection, and related construction products/services.

  4. Previous experience dealing with contractors, consultants, developers, and construction companies will be an advantage.

  5. Ability to read and understand structural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.

  6. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.

  7. Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and generate leads.

  8. Target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

  9. Good commercial understanding with the ability to prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals.

  10. Strong follow-up skills and the ability to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

  11. Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  12. UAE market experience and an existing network of clients/contractors will be an added advantage.

  13. UAE driving license is preferred.

  14. Willingness to travel for client meetings and project/site visits.

  15. Immediate joiners or candidates available within a short notice period are preferred.
