The Opportunity
It is an exciting time to join IHS Towers and we are currently seeking a passionate IT Compliance Analyst to join Governance, Risk & Compliance team. The IT Compliance Analyst will assist and support in ensuring that internal and IT general controls over systems/applications, infrastructure, and network in line with best practices and are compliant.
In particular, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in compliance and ITGC reviews of systems, applications, and IT processes
- Perform reviews of IT management policies and procedures, e.g., change management, business continuity planning/ disaster recovery and information security to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate
- Prepare reports/ presentations summarising results of testing along with proper remediation of test exceptions
- Assist in coordinating the scope and performance of reviews with business units and external security experts.
- Follow up and report on remediation of audit findings with various stakeholders (e.g., from internal and external audits, etc.).
- Operate the assigned IT SOX controls in line with the RACM
- Facilitate requests between control owners and internal/external (and other) teams and be the main point of contact with the internal and external audit teams.
- Perform compliance monitoring and reporting Systems (servers and Network devices) as well as the different operating systems such as Windows and Linux
- Drive compliance to established IT policies, Standards, and processes
- Document and drive compliance with various regulatory policies and Laws
- Monitor and coordinate IT compliance activities. Keep abreast of status, identify trends, and take appropriate steps to improve overall effectiveness.
- Communicate test results on time to management, including process improvement recommendations.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Specialist, IT Compliance.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Relevant professional certifications, e.g., CISA, CRISC, ISO27001 LA, etc., will be an asset
- +2-3 years’ relevant experience in IT Audit, Risk Advisory, and IT Compliance
- Demonstrable data analytics skills for SQL, Power Bi, or other CAAT tools
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics ERP
- Knowledge of risk management and information security.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing processes and procedures
- Enjoys self-learning/teaching and problem-solving with strong attention to detail
