We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shipping Company Manager to join our team at EVER LLC.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the shipping industry, specifically within the UAE market, with a proven track record of successful management.

Responsibilities :-

• Lead and oversee all aspects of shipping operations, including logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize shipping processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Manage and nurture relationships with shipping partners, carriers, and agents in the UAE, fostering strong collaborations to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipping schedules, routes, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet customer requirements and maintain profitability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market developments in the UAE, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth and expansion.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of shipping professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to shipping operations, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and finance, to coordinate shipping activities and support overall business objectives.

Requirements :-

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a managerial role within the shipping industry, with a focus on the UAE market.
• Proven track record of successfully managing shipping operations, achieving targets, and driving business growth.
• In-depth knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance in the UAE.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a diverse team.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Results-oriented with a customer-centric approach to shipping management.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
