Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of products/services.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to quality and operational efficiency.
  1. Performance Metrics:
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting operational performance and strategic recommendations.
  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and oversee safety protocols to protect employees and assets.
  1. Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading operational teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and operations management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
