Our client is a leading leisure and hospitality group and looking to hire their Senior Sales Manager for Events based in Dubai. You'll play a crucial role in driving the company's revenue growth through the planning and execution of sales strategies for event-related services. This role is essential for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, as well as leading the sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
As functional Head of Sales you'll be responsible for setting up processes and standard operating procedures,
targets for the sales and events team, ensuring customers receive excellent support from the team
members and meeting / exceeding sales goals.
- Promote company's related events such as sports and F&B Events.
- Develop and execute the Event Sales strategy to maximize revenue generation and client
satisfaction.
- Responsible for contracting, coordinating, and executing events and meetings at the company.
- Identify opportunities in the market to drive banquet revenues.
Skills
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Hotel School Diploma or similar field.
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and international exposure in a 5-star environment
- Has an understanding and/or experience of how to manage a multi-cultural workforce
- Knowledge and experience of organizing and selling (banqueting) events and conferences, golf and corporate events
Fluent written and spoken English
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience of international cuisine and wines
Computer literate
