Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and repairing any holes or imperfections.
• Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Color Mixing and Matching: Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades and ensure uniform application.
• Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and adherence to specifications, making any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintenance of Tools and Equipment: Clean and maintain brushes, rollers, and other painting equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations on paint types, colors, and finishes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of materials used, time spent, and work completed.
• Cleanup: Ensure the work area is clean and free of any debris or materials at the end of each day.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training in painting or a related field is a plus.
