Sales Coordinator - Used Cars

Overview of the role:

The primary focus of the role will be to contribute towards the planned growth and development of the Used Car Operation, in its aim to explore untapped opportunities and raise administrative effectiveness, thus optimising business in an increasingly sophisticated and expanding used car market. 


What you will do:

  • Be responsible for stock control & cost control, ensuring that vehicles are sent to the workshop for cleaning and servicing; ensure vehicles are prepared as per manufacturer CPOV specifications and that the vehicle is prepared for delivery with zero errors and omissions
  • Ensure timing and accuracy of daily stocks reports as well as the consolidation of weekly/monthly data for all management
  • Maintain vehicle details in SAP including costing of units, maintaining preparation cost, vehicle mileage and location
  • Monitoring details of incoming cars, OEM support, overage bookings, warranty/service details
  • Adherence of used car department timelines and standard operating procedures

Required Skills to be successful:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Efficient co-ordination in respect of the day-to-day activities of a busy used car operation
  • Cross cultural flexibility
  • Customer orientated, with decision making and problem-solving abilities

 

About the Team:

You will be reporting to the Sales Performance Manager and will work closely with the broader Trading Enterprise teams and internal and external stakeholders.

 

What equips you for the role:

•   High School Diploma

•   2 – 3 years automotive experience in retail operation day to day activities

•   Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel

•   Proficient in English
