Office Furniture Mover

We are looking for a strong and reliable Office Furniture Mover to join our team! As an Office Furniture Mover, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient relocation of furniture during office moves. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting furniture within buildings and potentially between locations. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the protection of all furniture throughout the moving process.



Responsibilities:

  • Carefully load, unload, and transport office furniture, ensuring no damage occurs.
  • Dismantle and reassemble furniture as needed for efficient moving.
  • Secure furniture with straps, dollies, and other equipment to prevent shifting and damage during transport.
  • Follow proper lifting techniques to protect yourself and avoid injuries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with floor plan set up at the new location.
  • May assist with packing and unpacking of office supplies (depending on the company).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding furniture placement and any concerns.


Skills


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in furniture moving or a related physical labor position.
  • Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license may be preferred (depending on the company).
