The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with a particular focus on building and optimizing backend services and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the robust backend infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge web applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure.<br/><br/>Duties:<br/><br/>Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services and cloud-based applications.<br/><br/>Implement BFF layers to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.<br/><br/>Develop and maintain highly-available API endpoints (e.g., RESTful, GraphQL, gRPC) to support web applications.<br/><br/>Work closely with frontend developers and product managers to define and deliver new features.<br/><br/>Contribute to the product and core backend systems by suggesting and executing improvements.<br/><br/>Respond to incidents, own them, and drive to completion; participate in root cause analysis.<br/><br/>Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.<br/><br/>Iterate quickly and develop multiple short-lived prototypes.<br/><br/>Qualifications:<br/><br/>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.<br/><br/>Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.<br/><br/>Strong knowledge of API design and development (e.g., RESTful, GraphQL, gRPC).<br/><br/>Proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin, Go, or Java.<br/><br/>Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Spring Boot, or Django).<br/><br/>Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.<br/><br/>Familiarity with shipping and supporting scalable web services hosted in cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.<br/><br/>Proficiency in version control systems like Git.<br/><br/>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br/><br/>Desire to teach and learn from peers.<br/><br/>Nice to Have:<br/><br/>Experience deploying web services with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).<br/><br/>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.<br/><br/>Exposure to frontend technologies like React for better BFF integration.<br/><br/>Knowledge of modern authentication schemes such as OAuth, JWTs, or cookies.<br/><br/>Ability to analyze the performance and scalability of systems.<br/><br/>Experience with distributed streaming technologies like Kafka.<br/><br/>Experience working in large data-driven services.<br/><br/>Experience with Spring Boot Framework.<br/><br/>Employee Benefits:<br/><br/>At Intelmatix, our benefits package is designed to meet the diverse needs of our employees, reflecting our dedication to their well-being and professional growth.
